Background and Expertise
Eyal is a former employee of the Tax Authority who until recently served as a professional advisor to the Director of the Tax Authority for a period of five years. Eyal is a member of the firm’s International Taxation team and specializes in the various areas of taxation, particularly income tax and aspects of international taxation and trusts. In addition Sando has extensive experience with various investment funds and their tax arrangements.
Select Professional Activities
Eyal has lectured on the different areas of taxation in the Accounting track at the College of Management. He has participated in conferences, seminars and various forums on taxation on behalf of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Israel as well as for other organizations. He has also collaborated on the writing of professional articles on international taxation.
Role in the Firm
Eyal is involved in international transactions, the planning of multinational structures, advising and aiding individuals on a variety of issues (relocations, new immigrants and returning residents, foreign residents, etc.), advice regarding trusts and investment funds, representation vis-à-vis the tax authorities on voluntary disclosure cases, the authoring of professional opinions, participation the writing and publication of professional material and general consultations regarding international taxation, all from the early stages of handling the case until arriving at arrangements with the Tax Authority on the issues under discussion.
