Background and Expertise

In her last position in the Tax Authority, Ronit served as the deputy assessing clerk for large industries in Tel Aviv. Ronit is a member of the firm’s Israeli Taxation department. Ronit specializes in the different areas of taxation, primarily income tax, incentive laws, real estate taxation and compensation from property tax and the war damage compensation fund.

Select Professional Activities

Ronit has been a member of many professional committees during the many years that she worked in the Tax Authority. In addition, she assisted and participated in the process of publishing prospectuses of public companies. She writes and is party to the writing of many professional articles on various taxation issues that are published in the economic newspapers and in various professional publications.

Role in the Firm

Representing taxpayers at the assessment offices and achieving assessment agreements, representing clients for the purpose of obtaining pre-rulings, and advance planning of transactions as they are developing while examining the possibilities for reducing the tax load placed on the assessed, including: consulting during restructuring, consulting on large transactions of the sale of activity and the sale of control in companies, both public and private, consulting on the issue of options to employees, consulting on TAMA 38 [National Master Plan 38] transactions and evacuation-and-construction projects, representation to compensation funds in order to receive compensation for war damages, and more.
